Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of The President Simulator, a single-player historical strategy game for iPhone published by Nest Studios LLC ("Nest Studios," "we," or "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

License

Nest Studios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use The President Simulator on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the app's source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law or Apple's guidelines
• Misrepresent the app's historical simulations as factual claims

Intellectual property

The President Simulator, including its code, design, writing, artwork, and all other content, is owned by Nest Studios LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the app or its content.

Entertainment, not advice

The President Simulator depicts real historical figures, events, and policy decisions for the purposes of simulation and entertainment. It is drawn from the public historical record but is not a work of scholarship, not a statement of fact about any living person, and does not constitute political, historical, medical, or financial advice. Alternate-timeline outcomes are fiction.

Purchases and refunds

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple, and your payment relationship is with Apple, not with Nest Studios. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies; you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Subscriptions (not currently active)

The app does not currently offer auto-renewing subscriptions. If we introduce subscriptions in a future version, this section will be updated to describe the subscription terms, billing periods, pricing, cancellation process, and how to manage your subscription through your Apple account settings. Any such subscriptions would be billed and managed by Apple.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nest Studios LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the app will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
